Terms & Conditions

2. The Competitions

2.1 These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to every prize competition listed on noblewins.co.uk and our associated mobile experiences (the “Website”).

2.2 Each competition is structured as a free prize draw within the meaning of section 339 of, and falls within paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to, the Gambling Act 2005. The four statutory conditions of that paragraph are met as follows:

  • (a) Choice. Every Entrant has a choice between paying to enter and entering for free by post.
  • (b) Equivalence. The free postal entry route is neither more expensive nor less convenient than the paid route. The free entry route requires only first or second class Royal Mail post. Beyond ordinary postage, no fee, registration cost, premium-rate call, or other charge is required to enter for free.
  • (c) Publicity. The free postal entry route is communicated on the Website, on each Competition page, and on our dedicated Free Postal Entry page, with equivalent visual prominence to the paid entry option.
  • (d) No differentiation. Paid Entries and free postal Entries are pooled together; the system used to select the winning Entry does not differentiate between them. Every valid Entry has an equal chance of winning, regardless of how it was submitted.

2.3 Because each competition is a free prize draw, the competitions are not lotteries within the meaning of the Gambling Act 2005 and do not require a Gambling Commission operating licence.

2.4 In these Terms:

  • “Competition” means a prize draw advertised on the Website;
  • “Entrant” means an individual who has submitted a valid entry;
  • “Entry” means a single ticket allocated to an Entrant for a specific Competition;
  • “Closing Date” means the date and time stated on the Competition page after which no further entries will be accepted;
  • “Draw” means the random selection of the winning Entry; and
  • “Prize” means the item described on the Competition page.

2.5 By submitting an Entry (whether paid or free), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not enter.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Entrants must be aged 18 or over at the time of entry.

3.2 Unless a Competition page states otherwise, Entrants must be resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.

3.3 The following are not eligible: directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents of Noble Wins Ltd; their immediate family and household members; and anyone professionally connected with the operation of a Competition.

3.4 Only one account per person is permitted. If you open or attempt to open multiple accounts using different email addresses, all of your accounts may be closed and you may be permanently excluded from entering.

3.5 We may verify your eligibility at any time and may require government-issued identification, proof of address, or proof of age before issuing a Prize. Entries that fail verification may be void.

4. How to Enter

4.1 No purchase is necessary to enter any Competition. Free postal Entries have an equal chance of winning as paid Entries.

4.2 Each Competition runs from the opening date to the Closing Date stated on its page. All times and dates are London, England local time.

4.3 We may, only where strictly necessary, change the opening or Closing Date. We will not extend the Closing Date simply to sell more Entries. Any change will be displayed on the Website.

4.4 We do not accept responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed, are lost, delayed, damaged, illegible, or incomplete, regardless of cause, including any equipment failure, technical malfunction, postal failure, or systems outage.

Paid online Entry

4.5 You may purchase Entries through the Website by selecting a Competition, choosing the number of Entries (subject to any limit stated on the page), and completing payment. Entries are confirmed by email and are visible in your account once payment is settled.

Free postal Entry

4.6 To enter for free, post a single unenclosed postcard, or one sheet of paper inside a sealed envelope, by first or second class Royal Mail post containing all of the following:

  • The exact name of the Competition you wish to enter;
  • Your full name (matching your Website account);
  • Your date of birth;
  • Your full postal address;
  • Your email address (matching your Website account);
  • Your contact telephone number; and
  • The number of free Entries you wish to receive, up to the maximum stated on the relevant Competition page (the maximum varies per Competition and is shown on each Competition's page; postal items requesting more than the stated maximum will be capped at that maximum).

Send to the postal address in clause 1.

4.7 Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.

4.8 You must hold a registered account on the Website before submitting a free postal Entry. The details on the postcard must match the details on that account. We cannot process free postal Entries that are not associated with a registered account.

4.9 You may make multiple free Entries for any Competition (up to any per-Entrant limit), but each free postal item must be submitted and posted to us individually. Bulk entries in a single envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries; if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single Entry.

4.10 Postal Entries must be received at least 24 hours before the Closing Date for the relevant Competition to be valid. Each postcard counts as one Entry into one Competition; bulk entries on a single postcard will be counted as a single Entry. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery. Entries received after the 24-hour cut-off will not be entered into the Draw, except that an Entry received within 72 hours after the Closing Date may, at our discretion, be credited as a free Entry to a Competition of the Entrant's choice that is open at the time of credit.

4.11 If the cap on Entries for a Competition is reached before your free postal Entry arrives, you will not be entered into the Draw for that Competition.

4.12 Equivalence top-up. If the price of a single paid Entry to any Competition is less than the prevailing cost of a second-class Royal Mail stamp, we will allocate multiple free Entries per postal item received so that the total value of free Entries equals or exceeds the cost of one second-class stamp. This satisfies the equivalence requirement of paragraph 8(b) of Schedule 2 to the Gambling Act 2005.

4.13 Per-Entrant ticket limits, where stated on a Competition page, apply equally to paid and free postal Entries. Any Entry exceeding the limit will be void.

5. Equal Chances

In compliance with paragraph 8(d) of Schedule 2 to the Gambling Act 2005, paid Entries and free postal Entries are pooled together and selected from the same pool. Every valid Entry has an equal chance of winning regardless of how it was submitted.

6. Choosing a Winner

6.1 The Draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable after the Closing Date and, in any event, within 7 days. The Draw may be brought forward if all available paid Entries are sold before the Closing Date.

6.2 Each Competition is identified on its page as either a Live Draw (broadcast on our social media channels at the time stated) or an Automated Draw (the winning Entry is selected the moment the Closing Date is reached, or the maximum number of paid Entries is sold, whichever is sooner).

6.3 The Draw is conducted by random selection from the pool of all valid Entries. The selection process uses a tamper-resistant random number generator. In accordance with rule 8.24 of the CAP Code, prizes are awarded strictly in accordance with the laws of chance, by a verifiable random computer process. No employee, contractor, or agent of Noble Wins influences which Entry wins.

6.4 Live Draws are recorded; recordings are retained for a minimum of 12 months for transparency. Automated Draws are logged with a timestamp and the winning Entry; logs are retained for the same period. To protect the personal data of Entrants, only ticket numbers and the winner's first name are displayed on screen during a Live Draw.

6.5 Our decision in any matter relating to the Draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

7. Notifying the Winner

7.1 We will contact the winner personally as soon as reasonably practicable after the Draw, normally within 48 hours, using the telephone number or email address registered to the winning Entry.

7.2 If we are unable to contact the winner, the winner does not respond, or the winner fails verification under clause 9, within 21 days of the Draw, we reserve the right to offer the Prize to another Entrant (the “Alternate Winner”) selected at random from the remaining valid Entries. The Alternate Winner shall have 21 days from notification to confirm acceptance. This process may continue until a winner accepts the Prize.

7.3 Under the CAP Code (rule 8.28.5), we are required to publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. To meet that obligation we will publish the winner's first name, last name, and county of residence on the Website and our social media channels.

7.4 If you object to your details being published, please email us at support@noblewins.co.uk before the Closing Date of the relevant Competition. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

8. The Prize

8.1 The Prize for each Competition is described on the Competition page. Details are correct, to the best of our knowledge, as at the opening date.

8.2 Prizes are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value, or to pay the cash alternative, if circumstances beyond our reasonable control make this necessary.

8.3 We make no representations and give no warranties about the Prize, its value, its condition, or any other information provided on the Competition page beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

8.4 Prizes are personal to the winner and are not transferable.

8.5 Where a cash alternative is offered, the winner may choose between the Prize as advertised and the cash alternative. The choice must be communicated to us in writing within 14 days of confirming acceptance of the Prize.

8.6 We are not responsible for any tax, duty, registration cost, insurance, fuel, ongoing cost, or other liability arising from a Prize. Winners are responsible for declaring Prizes to HMRC if and where required.

Vehicle prizes

8.7 Where the Prize is a vehicle:

  • the vehicle will be supplied with a valid MOT (where one is required) at the point of handover;
  • no road insurance is included with the Prize. The winner is responsible for arranging adequate insurance before taking the vehicle on a public road, and for keeping the vehicle insured thereafter;
  • vehicle excise duty (road tax) and any first-registration fees beyond those covered at handover are not included;
  • the winner is responsible for ensuring they hold the necessary driving licence and any other qualifications required to operate the vehicle legally;
  • the winner is responsible for safety equipment and clothing where relevant (for example, helmets, boots, and gloves on motorbike prizes), and for using the vehicle safely and lawfully;
  • once the vehicle has been delivered to the winner, we have no further responsibility for it. The winner is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Cash prizes

8.8 Cash prizes and cash alternatives are paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account in the winner's name within 14 working days of verification.

8.9 The winner must provide evidence that they are the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account into which the cash prize is to be paid. Failure to provide that evidence within 14 days of being asked will result in disqualification and forfeit of the Prize, and we may select an Alternate Winner under clause 7.2.

Physical prize delivery

8.10 Physical prizes are delivered to the winner's verified UK mainland address within 30 days of verification, unless the Competition page states a different timeframe. Where prize preparation (such as vehicle valeting or registration transfer) requires longer, we will agree a delivery date with the winner in advance.

8.11 You must claim the Prize personally. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

9. Verification and Identity Checks

9.1 Before any Prize is released we may require the winner to provide:

  • government-issued photo identification (passport or UK driving licence);
  • proof of address dated within the last 3 months;
  • proof of age;
  • for cash prizes, evidence that the winner is the sole or joint beneficiary of the receiving bank account.

9.2 For Prizes valued at £15,000 or more, we may carry out enhanced identity verification consistent with the standards in the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.

9.3 Verification documents are stored securely and processed in line with our Privacy Policy.

9.4 If you withdraw your consent to our processing of your verification data, the Prize cannot be transferred to you. You will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Competition and to have forfeited the Prize, and we may select an Alternate Winner under clause 7.2. No refund of any entry fee will be due in such circumstances.

10. Refunds and the “No Rollover” Rule

10.1 By accepting these Terms you expressly request that the Entry service is provided immediately. You acknowledge that, in line with regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you will lose the right to cancel once your Entry has been allocated. Once an Entry has been allocated to a specific Competition, the entry fee is non-refundable except where this clause 10 expressly provides.

10.2 If we cancel a Competition before the Closing Date, all Entrants who paid for Entries in that Competition will receive a full refund of the entry fee, returned to the original payment method or applied to site credit at the Entrant's election.

10.3 There is no minimum number of Entries. We will not void, suspend, cancel, extend the Closing Date, or amend any Competition due to a lack of Entries. The Draw will take place and the Prize will be awarded regardless of the number of Entries received.

10.4 In exceptional circumstances (for example, a regulatory change, or the loss of the Prize through no fault of ours that cannot be remedied by substitution), we may cancel a Competition after the Closing Date but before the Draw and refund all Entries.

10.5 No refunds will be given:

  • if you are disqualified from a Competition under clause 11;
  • if, after entering, you become ineligible (for example, by moving outside the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man);
  • if you withdraw your consent to our processing of your data so that the Prize can no longer be transferred to you (clause 9.4).

11. Fraud, Abuse and Disqualification

11.1 We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to disqualify any Entry, void any Entry, suspend an account, refuse a Prize, or permanently exclude an individual from future Competitions where we have reasonable grounds to believe that the Entrant has:

  • provided false, misleading, or stolen information;
  • used an automated system, bot, scraper, or script to enter or otherwise interact with the Website;
  • created or used multiple accounts to circumvent eligibility, verification, or per-Entrant limits;
  • committed or attempted any payment fraud, including unauthorised use of a payment method;
  • tampered with, hacked, or interfered with the proper functioning of the Website;
  • amended, decompiled, or made unauthorised use of any of the code that powers the Website;
  • submitted bulk free postal Entries in a manner inconsistent with clause 4.9;
  • engaged in abusive, threatening, or unlawful conduct toward our staff, contractors, or fellow Entrants; or
  • otherwise materially breached these Terms or acted contrary to the spirit of a Competition.

11.2 Where we exercise our rights under clause 11.1, paid entry fees attaching to the disqualified Entries will not be refunded.

11.3 We may share information about suspected fraudulent activity with our payment provider, the police, and fraud-prevention agencies.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

12.1 If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute on a payment that funded valid Entries, we may suspend your account and any related Entries pending the outcome of the dispute.

12.2 If a chargeback is upheld and we hold evidence that the Entry was validly authorised, we reserve the right to seek recovery of the disputed amount, together with any reasonable costs incurred.

12.3 Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent exclusion from the Website.

13. Site Credit

13.1 We may credit your account with site credit (for example, in lieu of a refund, or as a goodwill gesture). Site credit is denominated in pounds sterling.

13.2 Site credit is applied automatically to your next checkout, before any card payment.

13.3 Site credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

13.4 Site credit does not expire while your account is active. If your account is closed for breach of these Terms, any unused site credit is forfeited.

13.5 We may at any time withdraw or reverse site credit that was issued in error or as a result of fraud, and may set off site credit against any amount you owe us.

14. Discount Codes

14.1 We may from time to time issue discount codes which can be applied at checkout to reduce the cost of paid Entries. Each discount code is subject to the specific conditions stated when it is issued (for example, minimum spend, eligibility, expiry).

14.2 Unless stated otherwise, discount codes:

  • can only be used once per account;
  • cannot be combined with any other discount code;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash or site credit;
  • are voided if the underlying paid Entry is refunded or charged back; and
  • may be withdrawn or revoked by us at any time, including for misuse.

15. Account Closure and Suspension

15.1 You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Closure does not affect Entries already submitted to Competitions in which the Draw has not yet occurred; those Entries remain valid.

15.2 We may suspend or close an account where required by law, where these Terms have been materially breached, or where we reasonably believe that doing so is necessary to protect the integrity of our Competitions.

15.3 Account closure does not relieve you of any obligation accrued before closure.

16. Responsible Play

16.1 We provide tools to help you play within your means, accessible from your account:

  • Monthly spend limit. Caps the amount you can spend on paid Entries within a calendar month. The limit resets on the 1st.
  • Take a break (cool-off). Blocks paid Entries for a chosen period (1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year). Lifts automatically when the period ends.
  • Self-exclusion. Permanently blocks paid Entries. May only be lifted by contacting our support team after a minimum 6-month review period, in line with the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators.

16.2 We are committed to the player-protection principles of the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators. Where we hold a credit-card payment method on your account and the Voluntary Code applies, our payment provider may apply a £250 per-calendar-month limit on credit-card payments to standard prize draws, and may decline credit-card payments on instant-win prize draws. Debit-card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank-transfer payments are not subject to these limits.

16.3 If you are concerned about your relationship with prize draws or gambling, free and confidential advice is available from GambleAware and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.

17. Limitation of Liability

17.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

17.2 Subject to clause 17.1, insofar as is permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from technical failures of the Website, lost or delayed Entries, payment provider outages, postal failures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

17.3 Subject to clause 17.1, our aggregate liability to any Entrant in connection with a Competition is limited to the amount that Entrant paid in entry fees for that Competition.

17.4 Subject to clause 17.1, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of expected winnings, or loss of enjoyment.

17.5 Once a Prize has been delivered to the winner, we have no further liability in respect of it. The winner's use of the Prize is at the winner's sole risk.

17.6 Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

18. Force Majeure

18.1 We are not in breach of these Terms, nor liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations, where the cause of the delay or failure is beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, industrial action, regulatory change, or failure of utilities or telecommunications.

19. Intellectual Property

19.1 All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to Noble Wins Ltd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

19.2 You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, transmit, or otherwise exploit any of the content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

20. Data Protection

20.1 We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy.

20.2 If you withdraw consent to our processing of your personal data in a way that prevents us from administering a Competition or transferring a Prize to you, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Competition and forfeited the Prize. No refund of any entry fee will be due.

21. Complaints

21.1 If you have a complaint about a Competition or our service, please contact us at support@noblewins.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and to substantively respond within 28 days.

21.2 If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to your local Trading Standards office or to the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.

21.3 Nothing in this clause restricts your right to bring legal proceedings in the courts.

22. Social Platforms

22.1 The Competitions on the Website are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, or any other third-party social platform. By entering, you acknowledge that those platforms have no liability for and are not responsible for the administration or promotion of the Competitions.

23. Changes to these Terms

23.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the date last updated.

23.2 Material changes will be notified via the Website or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, unless the change is required by law and must take effect sooner. Entries submitted before a change takes effect will be governed by the version of the Terms that was in force when the Entry was submitted.

24. General

24.1 If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

24.2 Our failure or delay in enforcing any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.

24.3 You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations on giving you reasonable notice.

24.4 No third party has any rights under these Terms by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

24.5 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your participation in any Competition.

24.6 You should print or save a copy of these Terms and keep them for your records.

24.7 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that, if you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
